Sayerlack has added AM 570/00,the new wood preservative for exterior, clear and transparent, to its product range. It has performance characteristics compliant with European Directive BPD 98/8 CE for biocidal and fungicidal products. The product is ready to use and it contains specific active ingredients that kill noxious organisms that can attack wood substrates, including the blu stain or basidiomiceti xilofagi fungi.
AM 570/00 is a wood preservative for wooden commodities for outdoor and its effectiveness has been proven to be able to extend outdoor durability of wood products. It can be applied by manual or automatic spraying, dipping or flow coating on untreated or pretreated substrates made of solid wood or plywood classified as 2 or 3 according to the norm UNI EN 335-1. It is suitable also for those wood substrates which fall under lower classes of durability, 4 and 5 (according to UNI EN 350 hemlock, meranti, elm, NA Douglas fir, spruce fir, silver fir, maple, and ash). It’s recommended for those woods which are classified as class 3 (sapele. niangon, yellow and red fir, pine, walnut).
The coating system consists on a first coating of AM 570/00 on the item to be coated, by manual/automatic spray, dipping or flow coating. For a better penetration the wood preservative AM 570/00 must be applied as a first coat on untreated, non sanded wood. The best penetration is achieved when applied by dipping. In this case the item can be coated disassembled or already assembled ready to be set up. AM 570/00 imparts a limited fiber lifting, has an excellent penetration of the wood, and a stabilizing effect on window frames.
The coating system will be completed depending on the final use of the item: it’s possible to overcoat with a stain of Sayerlack’s Hydroplus or Hydrogold series to impart the wood the desired colour.
No fungi will spoil wood anymore: AM 570/00 gives the protection against any attack.
